New Features

Connect Coram to Your Wider Workflow with Coram Webhooks

Coram now offers Webhooks, letting you automatically send camera alerts and device status updates to external systems in real time. Use them to trigger Slack or Teams messages, update Google Sheets, create support tickets in PagerDuty, or connect to workflows through Zapier -- all with no coding required. Learn more in Coram Webhooks.

See More Detail with the Redesigned Alerts Feed

The Alerts Feed now features a new two-column layout, which makes reviewing incidents simpler and more intuitive. Each alert is listed on the left, with full details and video displayed on the right. This design offers quicker access and a cleaner, more efficient way to scan multiple events at a glance. Try it out here.

Search for Specific Date Ranges in Discover

The Discover search bar now understands time-based queries, making natural language search simpler than ever. The existing date picker remains available for manual timeframe selection, but you can now include date ranges in your search query. For example, “man in red hoodie yesterday,” “delivery truck in the last 14 days,” or “blue backpack on October 9.” Read more in Introduction to Discover, or try it out here.

Experience a Smoother Timeline

The video timeline has been overhauled for speed and reliability, so historical playback is smoother and more consistent than ever, even when reviewing longer periods or higher-resolution footage. Learn more in Introduction to Timeline View.

More Updates

Alerts

  • More precise filtering has been added for Alerts, with multi-select filters for location, date, event type, and user, as well as a search bar.

  • Trespassing alerts can now be created for any detected motion, in addition to monitoring for people, vehicles, or animals. Learn more in Creating a Trespassing Alert.

  • Alert notifications are now managed directly within each alert’s settings, with configurable SMS, email, and push options. (Notification Groups have been removed, and all existing groups have been automatically converted to individual recipients for each alert. Learn more in Notification Groups.)

User Management and Compliance

  • Access Logs now include Access Control and EMS activity (alongside VMS activity), giving you a complete record of user activity across the Coram platform. Each entry shows who did what and when, improving transparency and compliance. Find full details in Settings: Settings: Access Logs.

  • A new session expiry warning now appears for organizations with HIPAA auto-logout enabled, helping users stay compliant while avoiding loss of progress during inactivity.

Access Control

Access Control gains several usability upgrades this month:

  • You can now connect multiple card readers to a single door for greater flexibility in access hardware setup.

  • Coram now supports keypads as an authentication method, allowing each Access Control user to be assigned a unique PIN code.

  • Keycards can now be registered by scanning directly at the door, removing the need to enter card numbers manually.

  • A series of subtle UI refinements improve clarity and streamline the overall experience.

Enhancements and Fixes

These updates include refinements across AI detection, reporting, and playback, alongside several smaller performance and usability fixes.

  • Detection accuracy: Further improved for firearm, PPE, and slip-and-fall alerts, reducing false positives.

  • Reports (Insights): Fixed a timezone inconsistency affecting multi-region camera setups.

  • Archives: Clips now sort by start time rather than upload time, and scrollbar issues have been resolved.

  • Camera CSV Data Exports: Now include codec and FPS details.

  • Journey Paths: Now show a loading indicator while journeys are processing.

  • Camera rotation: Fixes on some 4-channel Coram Points ensure orientation changes apply correctly.

  • Minor UI and performance optimizations: Enhancements across web and mobile apps for a smoother experience, with streaming performance upgrades across all browsers and devices.
