New Alerts

  • Collision Risk (vehicle ↔ person): Detects near-miss events between moving vehicles and people. A late-August patch reduced also false positives from parked cars.

  • Overcrowding: Alerts when the headcount in a defined area exceeds your chosen threshold. Perfect for managing high foot traffic or hazardous zones.

Both of these alerts ship with IP Speaker support and dedicated audio messages.

Updates and Enhancements

Alerts

Alerts now run with lower latency, higher reliability, and resilience during internet outages, with offline speaker alert playback currently in the works.

Video streaming

Clips and downloads are now completely jitter-free for even smoother playback, and clips load faster than ever.

Detection Quality & Reliability

  • PPE alerts: Reduced false positives.

  • Trespassing: Better handling around parked cars.

  • Edge services robustness: Improved redeploy flow to prevent outages in a critical perception service.

Platform & UI

  • A cleaner, more intuitive UI for speakers.

  • An edge-to-edge layout on the Live View page.

  • Faster loading for the Alerts feed page.

  • Better filters in the user management page: filter for users without user groups.

Improvements

  • Kiosk Walls: Resolved a rare memory leak when an external display was disconnected but the wall remained configured, which could cause NVR memory spikes, and interrupt recording or streams.

  • Camera audio for new Coram cameras: Resolved audio issues affecting some deployments.

  • Network Speakers: Fixed edge-case bugs when adding speakers to devices.

  • Camera group user filter: Now behaves correctly in edge cases.

  • Horizontal scrollbar: Visual glitch resolved.
