You can filter results by date, time range, camera, or location, and view thumbnail highlights that match your search term.

Conduct a search
From the main navigation menu, go to Discover. Type your query in the search bar (for example, “man in long brown coat”), then press Enter.
Refine Results and View, Download, Share, or Archive Videos
Use location/camera filters and date/time pickers to narrow your search. Find a useful result, then click the thumbnail to play the video clip. To download, share, or archive the clip, click the three-dots icon ( ⋮ ).
Adhere to Best Practices
Start with clear, specific phrases; broaden or refine keywords as needed to find more or fewer matches. If you get no hits, try broader terms. If you get too many, add more detail or stricter filters.

Overview
Discover is a powerful tool included with Coram that lets you use natural language search queries to find virtually anything in your recorded videos.
By searching across all the recordings for all cameras in your organization, you can quickly pinpoint exact people, vehicles, objects, moments, and events without manually sifting through hours of videos.
When you conduct a search, Discover provides video thumbnails that highlight your search term, helping you locate relevant clips at a glance.

Using the Discover Feature
Access the Coram web app and sign in to your account.
From the main navigation menu, click Discover.
At the bottom of the page, click the search bar.

Type your search query. For example, "man in long brown coat".
To load the search results, press Enter.

To narrow results by location or camera, select the required filters from the corresponding dropdown menus.
To limit the time range, open the date/time picker and choose a preset or define a custom date range.
Scroll through the results to find the relevant clip.
Click a thumbnail to load the video.
Best Practices
Use clear, concise search terms and straightforward language to improve the accuracy of results.
Start with a specific query, then broaden it by using less specific search terms to expand your results.
