As an end user, sometimes it is important to know the available internet uplink and downlink speeds at Coram Point, and to check if a particular IP address is reachable by Coram Point.
Running Speed Test on Coram Point
Coram Point automatically runs a speed test every 12 hours, but sometimes you might want to manually run a speed test to get the latest reading. You can do this by going to Devices > Appliances > Settings > Rerun Speed Test. It can take up to 30-45 seconds to finish the speed test.
Running Ping Test to an IP address from a Coram Point
For Coram Point to connect to an IP camera, it should be able to ping it. Sometimes it is useful to run a ping test to confirm that Coram Point can see the IP camera. If no path is found to the camera's IP address, then Coram Point cannot connect to the camera. It can take up to 30 seconds for the ping test to finish.
To run a ping test, please go to Devices > Appliances > Settings. Then enter the IP address you would like to ping and run the ping test.
