🔎 At a Glance
The guest log is the running record of everyone who has checked in through your Guest Management iPads. From the Guests section of the Coram web app you can search and filter check-ins, open any guest to see their full check-in details and screening results, and download a signed legal agreement when one was captured.
For an overview of the Guest Management System and the check-in flow, see Introduction to Coram's Guest Management System.
For how screening results are produced, see Guest Screening and Background Checks.

Overview
The guest log lives in the Guests section of the Coram web app. Switch to the Guests product from the sidebar, then select Guests in the left sidebar. The page is headed Guest Log and shows every check-in as a row in a table.
Across the top of the table are status tabs that filter the log by where each guest is in the check-in lifecycle:
All Guests — every check-in in the selected date range.
Needs Approval — guests flagged during screening who are waiting for an administrator to approve or deny entry.
Checked In — guests who are currently on your premises.
Checked Out — guests who have left and been checked out.
Denied — guests who were denied entry, including those whose approval window expired.
Each tab shows a count of how many guests match it. The table itself has six columns: Guest, Device, Status, Host, Checked In, and Checked Out.
Note: Both administrators and users with the Regular role can view the guest log. Regular users can also check guests out and print badges, but only administrators can approve or deny flagged guests. For more on roles, see Managing Coram Guest Management Users.
Searching
Use the Search box at the top of the Guest Log to find a specific guest. As you type, the log filters to matching check-ins. Search matches against the guest's name, email address, phone number, and company, as well as the host's name.
Search works together with the status tab and filters you have set, so you can, for example, search within the Checked In tab to find a specific guest who is currently on site.
Filtering
Alongside search, the Guest Log offers a location filter, a device filter, and a date-range selector. They combine, so you can narrow the log to a specific place, kiosk, and time window at once.
Location — by default this reads Location (all) and includes every location. Open it to limit the log to one or more locations.
Device — by default this reads Device (all) and includes every registered iPad. Open it to limit the log to specific devices. The list also includes an Unassigned option for check-ins not tied to a registered device.
Date range — choose a preset (Today, Yesterday, Last 7 Days, This Month, or Last Month) or set a custom range. The log defaults to the last 7 days.
Tip: If the table shows No guests found, no check-ins match your current filters. Widen the date range or clear a filter to see more results.
Viewing Check-In Details
Click any row in the Guest Log to open the Guest Details panel. This drawer shows the guest's photo and current status at the top, followed by their full check-in record.
The details are grouped into sections:
Personal Details — the guest's Email, Phone, and Company, plus the Document type and Document number when an ID document was scanned. Only the last four digits of the document number are shown.
Visit Details — the Host the guest came to see, the Device they checked in on, the visit Duration, and the Checked in and Checked out times.
Screening Results — the outcome of document verification, blacklist matching, and the criminal background check for this check-in. For what each result means, see Guest Screening and Background Checks.
Depending on the guest's status, action buttons appear at the top of the panel:
For a guest who is checked in, you can click Print Badge to reprint their badge or Check Out to check them out.
For a flagged guest waiting on a decision, an administrator can click Approve or Deny. Choosing Deny opens the Deny Guest dialog, where you enter a reason before confirming.
Note: You can also reprint a badge or check a guest out directly from the Checked In rows in the table, without opening the panel.
Downloading a Signed Legal Agreement
If a guest signed a legal agreement during check-in, a Legal Agreement section appears in the Guest Details panel. It shows a Signed status badge, a link to the document, and the date the guest signed.
To open the signed document:
Open the guest's Guest Details panel from the Guest Log.
Scroll to the Legal Agreement section.
Click the document link, which is labeled with the document name and version (for example, NDA (v2)).
The signed PDF opens in a new browser tab, where you can view it or save it to your computer. The PDF is the original agreement with a signature verification page appended, capturing the guest's name, email, company, host, and the signed-at timestamp.
Note: If the link reads Generating…, the signed PDF is still being produced and is not yet available. This happens briefly right after a check-in, or after an offline iPad reconnects and syncs. Check back in a moment. To learn how legal agreements are captured and configured, see Setting Up and Configuring Guest Management.
