Introducing Coram Visitor Management

Replace paper sign-in sheets with a secure, integrated digital check-in experience.

Coram Visitor Management is a new product line that brings visitor check-in, screening, and tracking into the Coram platform. Running on iPads at your entry points, the system walks visitors through a configurable check-in flow, capturing name, contact details, host selection, face photo, and optional driver's license verification, then prints a badge and notifies the host automatically.

Security teams can maintain a blacklist to flag individuals at check-in, with real-time administrator notifications and a structured approval workflow for flagged visitors.

Driver's license scanning includes identity verification and checks against criminal record databases, completing in under two seconds. The system works offline, storing check-ins locally and syncing data, deferred screenings, and host notifications once connectivity returns.

Visitor Management gives organizations a unified view of who is on-site, with permanent records of all check-ins, blacklist matches, and approval decisions, all accessible from the Coram web app.

Tailgating Alerts for Access Control

Detect unauthorized entry when someone follows an authorized user through a secured door.

Coram Access Control now supports Tailgating Alerts, combining access event data with camera footage to detect when more people pass through a door than the number of valid credential events recorded. When tailgating is detected, the system sends notifications with door, location, and timestamp details, and the event appears in the Alerts Feed with supporting video footage.

Tailgating alerts support configurable schedules, per-door camera association, and per-recipient notification preferences (email, SMS, and push). This closes one of the most common gaps in physical access security, adding another layer of unauthorized access detection to Coram's unified alerting workflow.

  • Access Control Events Now Available on Mobile
View access events directly in the Coram mobile app, keeping field teams informed without switching to the web app.

Alerts & Detection

  • EMS Device Health Notifications
EMS administrators now receive email notifications for device health issues, including gateway connectivity loss and critically low panic button battery levels.

  • Improved Firearm and Slip-and-Fall Detection
