Dashboards

Use dashboards as a space to create and group together related reports, to provide tailored views for different functions, teams, or projects. To learn more, refer to Managing Dashboards.

Reports

Create reports to generate detailed insights about your videos. You can create and customize reports for the following criteria:

  • Motion detected from people, vehicles, or objects.

  • Line crossings from people or vehicles.

  • Total numbers of people or vehicles in an area.

  • Person-vehicle proximity.

  • Idle time for people, vehicles, or other objects.

Each report type supports different use cases and helps you analyze and understand the behavior of people, vehicles, and other objects for all of your video feeds, according to various criteria. To learn about each report type, refer to Creating Reports.

Note: You cannot use the Insights feature to identify or report on specific vehicle license plates or specific people. To track license plates or people of interest, use Alerts. To learn more, refer to Introduction to Alerts.
