Overview
Use the Idle Time report to count when a person, vehicle, or other object is idle for a specified amount of time within a defined region of interest. To customize the report, configure the following settings:
Object Types: Uses Coram's powerful AI model to identify idle time for specific objects:
Vehicle - motion from most common vehicle types including cars, trucks, vans, forklifts, semis, and other site vehicles.
Person - motion from people.
Motion - motion from any object.
Idle Time Threshold: Lets you define the minimum amount of time that an object must be idle before it is counted as an event.
Region of Interest: For each camera that you add, you can monitor the entire image (, selected by default), or draw a rectangle () or a polygon () region of interest.
Creating an Idle Time Report
To create an Idle Time report and add it to a dashboard:
Access the Coram web app and sign in to your account.
From the main navigation menu, select Insights.
In the top left corner of the page, click the dropdown arrow ( โผ ) to select the dashboard where you want to create the new report.
In the top right corner of the page, click + Create Report.
The New Report page appears.
Add a name, optional description, and time period for the report.
For Report Type, select Idle Time, then configure the report settings.
Select + Add Cameras, then select the corresponding check box for each camera you want to include and click Save.
For each camera that you selected, define the region of interest, or choose to monitor the whole image.
From the Report Visualisation menu, choose one or more of the following options:
Event Counter: Shows a cumulative counter for the total number of events across all selected cameras.
Graphs: Shows a non-cumulative line graph over time for all events across all selected cameras.
Video Clips: Shows a clickable video thumbnail for each event across all selected cameras.
To save the report and add it to the dashboard, click Create Report.
