Object Count Report

Overview

Use the Object Count report type to count the number of people or vehicles within a defined region of interest. To customize the report, configure the following settings:

Object Types: Uses Coram's powerful AI model to identify and count specific objects:

  • Vehicle - count most common vehicle types including cars, trucks, vans, forklifts, semis, and other site vehicles.

  • Person - count people.

Region of Interest: For each camera that you add, you can monitor the entire image(, selected by default), or draw a rectangle () or a polygon () region of interest.

Creating an Object Count Report

To create an Object Count report and add it to a dashboard:

  1. Access the Coram web app and sign in to your account.

  2. From the main navigation menu, select Insights.

  3. In the top left corner of the page, use the dropdown arrow to select the dashboard where you want to create the new report.

  4. In the top right corner of the page, click .

    The New Report page appears.

  5. Add a name, optional description, and time period for the report.

  6. For Report Type, select Object Count, then configure the report settings. To learn more about different report settings, refer to Report Types.

  7. Select + Add Cameras, then select the corresponding check box for each camera you want to include and click Save.

  8. For each camera that you selected, define the region of interest, or choose to monitor the whole image. To learn more, refer to Report Types.

  9. From the Report Visualisation menu, choose one or more of the following options:

    • Event Counter: Shows a cumulative counter for the total number of events across all selected cameras.

    • Graphs: Shows a non-cumulative line graph over time for all events across all selected cameras.

    • Video Clips: Shows a clickable video thumbnail for each event across all selected cameras.

  10. To save the report and add it to the dashboard, click .
