Highlights

This month, we've been working hard behind the scenes to push our platform forward in some truly exciting ways. We’ve delivered highly requested key features like Slip and Fall Alerts and extended video downloads, while also investing a great deal of effort into the inner workings of our streaming technology and facial recognition models. Whether you’re a first responder, a security manager, or part of an internal IT team, these changes aim to make your daily workflow smoother, more efficient, and better equipped to keep your people and assets safe.

🚨 Stay ahead of slip-and-fall incidents.

We’re launching a beta of our slip-and-fall detection to help reduce incident response times and prevent further injuries. It's a key feature for high-traffic environments, where slip-and-fall incidents are prevalent.

⏩ Experience our smoothest streaming ever.

We've worked hard on our streaming services to bring you smoother live feeds and reduced latency, even when network conditions aren't ideal.

🎞️ Download longer clips for extensive content reviews.

You can now download video clips up to 24 hours in length, which is useful for compliance and investigations that need in-depth historical records.

🔎 Track important faces with even more confidence.

We’ve refined our face recognition algorithms for better precision, resulting in fewer incorrect matches. This helps your team stay focused on the most crucial alerts, instead of weeding out misidentifications.

Key Features

Slip and Fall Alerts

We’re introducing a beta version of slip and fall detection, designed to identify potential accidents as they happen. Once enabled, alerts appear in real time whenever a slip or fall is detected, reducing response times and helping prevent further injuries. It offers practical value for high-traffic environments such as retail stores, warehouses, and hospitals, or anywhere that slip-and-fall incidents could be an issue. Enhanced Streaming

We've launched our proprietary video streaming protocol, which reduces the startup time for live streams to less than two seconds, and keeps overall latency well under two seconds. This also means smoother live feeds and reduced latency in lower-quality network conditions. Cameras that produce B-frames or unique frame structures stream more consistently, and connection reliability and synchronization have been further enhanced for an even more dependable streaming experience.

Extended Downloads

If you need more than a few hours of footage for compliance or an evidence report, you can now download video clips up to 24 hours in length. This is ideal for compliance reviews, investigations, or any scenario requiring in-depth historical footage. Note that large downloads can impact network performance, so please factor in usage patterns before you retrieve day-long clips.

Improved Facial Recognition

We’ve refined our face recognition algorithms to deliver sharper, more reliable matches. Thanks to these advancements, your security teams can truly trust critical alerts, instead of sorting through misidentifications. Fewer false positives mean you’ll have more time to respond to real issues and deal with situations effectively.
