Camera Showing Fluctuating Black Lines

This issue can occur when the camera is pointed directly at a light source, such as a bulb, leading to a pattern of black lines fluctuating across the camera’s view. This effect is often due to interference between the camera's frame rate and the frequency of the light source, particularly with LED or fluorescent lighting, which can cause a flickering effect in recordings.

To resolve this issue:

  1. Log into the camera using its IP address from your web browser

  2. Switch the camera exposure mode to manual.

  3. Set the shutter speed to 1/120 to better synchronize with the light’s frequency, reducing or eliminating the black line effect.

This adjustment should help stabilize the image, removing the fluctuating lines and improving the overall video quality.
