Learn about active user settings, including adding a custom username and enabling high-resolution video for live streams.

Overview

When you add a new user to your Coram account, you are required to provide their email address only. As an admin, you can use the Personal settings page to assign a custom username for the logged-in user.

Note: By default, your username is your email address.

You can also use the Personal settings page to enable high-resolution live video streaming for the timeline page for the logged-in user.

Adding a Custom Username

To add a custom username:

  1. Access to the Coram web app and sign in to the user account you want to update.

  2. In the top-right corner of the page, click the dropdown arrow (), then select Settings.

  3. In the Settings sub-menu, click Personal.

  4. In the username field, click the padlock () icon.

  5. Type a new username, then click the check mark () icon.

Enabling High Resolution Live Video Streaming

To enable high resolution live video streaming for the timeline page:

  1. Access to the Coram web app and sign in to the user account you want to update.

  2. In the top-right corner of the page, click the dropdown arrow (), then select Settings.

  3. In the Settings sub-menu, click Personal.

  4. For High Resolution Live Video Streaming, enable the toggle switch.
