Alert Sensitivity

For Trespassing alerts, it can be the case that people or vehicles are not detected if the area of interest is very small, or if the they move quickly through the area of interest.

If you find that a Trespassing alert is not triggering when it should, you can increase the sensitivity of the alert.

It can also be the case that vehicles or people near to or partially within the area of interest are accidentally detected. If you find that a Trespassing alert is triggering when it should not, you can decrease the sensitivity of the alert.

  1. Access the Coram web app and sign in to your account.

  2. From the main navigation menu, select Alerts.

  3. At the top of the page, click the Manage Alerts tab.

  4. Click the alert you want to configure.

    The Edit Alert window appears.

  5. For Alert Sensitivity, choose the option that suits your needs:

    • Low: For situations where accidental detections are likely.

    • Med: Selected by default, suitable for most applications.

    • High: For situations where missed detections are likely.
