Creating an Environment Alert

Send notifications to a custom recipient list when a selected HALO environmental trigger is detected on one of your sensors.

Before you begin, ensure the following:

To create a new Environment alert:

  1. Access the Coram web app and sign in to your account.

  2. From the main navigation menu, select Alerts.

  3. In the top-right corner of the page, click + Create Alert > Environment.

    The Create Halo Sensor Alert drawer appears.

  4. Type a name for the alert.

  5. From the Sensors dropdown menu, select one or more HALO sensors to use for detections for the alert.

  6. From the Events selector, click one or more detection types that you want to include.

  7. From the Notification Groups dropdown menu, select the notification groups you want to include for the alert, then click Save.

  8. From the Days dropdown menu, set the weekly alert schedule:

    • Daily: The Alert is active every day of the week.

    • Weekday: The alert is active only every Monday to Friday (inclusive).

    • Weekend: The alert is active only on Saturdays and Sundays.

    • Custom: The alert is active on the days you select from the day picker.

  9. To set the daily start and end times for the alert, provide the Start Time and End Time in the 12-hour format (for example, "3:15 PM").

  10. To add an audio message that plays when the alert is triggered:

    1. For Audio Alerts, select On.

    2. Select one or more speakers to play audio alerts. When an alert is triggered, all selected speakers will play the audio message.

    3. To preview the audio message, click Preview.

  11. To save the alert, click Create Alert.
