Before you begin, ensure the following:
You have Slip and Fall detection licenses for your organization. To learn more, refer to Licensing for Premium Alerts.
You have created a notification group that contains the users you want to notify. To learn more, refer to Notification Groups.
To create a new Slip and Fall alert:
Access the Coram web app and sign in to your account.
From the main navigation menu, select Alerts.
In the top-right corner of the page, click + Create Alert > Slip and Fall.
Note: You can only have one active Slip and Fall alert. If a Slip and Fall alert is already active, the Edit Alert drawer appears instead, with a banner confirming that the alert already exists. You can then edit the existing alert.
Type a name for the alert.
Click + Add Cameras.
The Add Cameras window appears.
Select the cameras you want to use to detect slip and fall incidents, then click Save.
For each camera that you selected, define the region of interest (ROI). You can set the entire image as the ROI (
, selected by default), or draw a rectangle (
) or a free-form polygon (
) ROI.
From the Days dropdown menu, set the weekly monitoring schedule:
Daily: The Alert is active every day of the week.
Weekday: The alert is active only every Monday to Friday (inclusive).
Weekend: The alert is active only on Saturdays and Sundays.
Custom: The alert is active on the days you select from the day picker.
To set the daily start and end times for the alert, provide the Start Time and End Time in the 12-hour format (for example, "3:15 PM").
From the Notification Groups dropdown menu, select the notification groups you want to include for the alert, then click Save.
To add an audio message that plays when the alert is triggered:
For Audio Alerts, select On.
Select one or more speakers to play audio alerts. When an alert is triggered, all selected speakers will play the audio message.
To preview the audio message, click Preview.
