Learn how to share a publicly-accessible web link to a live video feed from your organization in Coram

Overview

Coram makes it easy to share real-time video feeds with external viewers. By generating a live stream link directly from the Timeline page, you can provide temporary access to external users, without requiring them to sign in to your Coram account.

Sharing a Live Video Stream

To share a live video stream:

  1. Access the Coram web app and sign in to your account.

  2. Navigate to the Timeline page for the camera live stream you want to share.

  3. Hover your cursor over the video stream until the toolbar appears, then click the Share icon ().

  4. Ensure the Share Live Stream checkbox is selected.

  5. Specify an Expiry Time for the link, up to one year from today’s date.

  6. For the recipient of the link, provide at least one of the following:

    • A Phone Number

    • An Email Address

  7. Include an optional message to provide context or instructions to the recipient.

  8. Click Share.

    Coram generates a unique link and sends an email or SMS message to the recipient, allowing them to view the live stream before the specified expiry time.
