Our software supports dewarping the 360-degree view of fisheye cameras. This feature works with any fisheye camera, regardless of the manufacturer or resolution. Coram software automatically detects if a camera is fisheye and enables dewarping.
Select the Camera Mount Position
If a camera is detected as fisheye, users will see a "Mounting Position" option in the camera settings. We support ceiling-mounted and wall-mounted fisheye cameras. Ensure the correct option is selected, as it affects dewarping quality. In the image below, the fisheye camera is wall-mounted, so the wall-mount option is selected.
Dewarped views
Dewarped views for fisheye cameras can be accessed from the timeline page. Coram supports three dewarped views:
Perspective: This view allows users to move the camera around with a mouse to generate different perspectives.
4-Cut View: This provides a 2x2 grid of four views generated from the fisheye camera.
Panoramic View: This displays a 180-degree flat view of the camera.
These views can be generated for any fisheye camera and are not limited to Coram AI fisheye cameras. Check the video below for more details.
